I would like to thank Jay Bogdan and his associate Maryam for their work on getting my Pharmacist license off of Probation for many years. They are very professional, returned my phone calls and emails and clarified my questions in a very timely manner! 5 stars!!

I had a really good experience with the law offices of Joseph.J. Bodgan. Attorney J Bodgan, is exceptional and goes beyond any expectations! He does not only deliver what he promises, but he personally answers your phone calls and text messages, answers all your questions, and explains everything clearly! He definitely make any stressful situation feel more manageable. I felt like he truly cared and had my back the whole time. Highly recommend him and him only !!! if you need legal help with the actual best outcome possible.

I retained Mr Bogdan after making a complaint with the IDFPR related to fraud and very dangerous work on my home amounting to over $17,000 that was eventually a criminal fraud losses right in front of many State and County officials. For about the first 60 minutes of the paid in person consultation Mr Bogdan worked primarily on a pharmacy school lecture. My understanding per the ABA is that it is double billing. I described to Mr Bogdan what he would have known to be a very advanced stalking, harassment, intimidation and a blackmail/extortion operation. It appeared that I was wiretapped but I did not state that directly to him. I would get calls, texts, emails, threatening contractors visiting my house, bizarre internet advertising and social media that was all indicating that I would have to pay the dangerous fraud roofer in a fake lawsuit. Interestingly enough fake Google Maps reviews are pretty common with this RICO stuff and there are some in the list here now. It was relentless stalking and intimidation. Mr Bogdan looked at almost none of my evidence; much indicated very serious fraud and extremely dangerous and inept work. As it turns out this is apparently something the IDFPR informally and illegally runs called a "Rico" where "they" wiretap you and do a bunch of this clandestine stuff illegally using the DuPage County MERIT Fusion Center to try and get monetary payments for people they like. They also watched me for years on my home security video camera (send me emails about it) and tampered with my jobs. The States Attorney apparently also agrees to let people commit as much crime as they want to against you without prosecution. As I described all this stuff, Mr Bogdan looked up from his other work and then sent an email to the IDFPR and then made a call to the IDFPR outside his office. I approached him with more evidence and Mr Bogdan stated "I used to be in that business". After the meeting with Mr Bogdan all of the stalking, harassment and extortion/blackmail and racketeering activity got much worse. I subsequently asked for Mr Bogdan's legal notes related to my case and the emails Mr Bogdan sent on my billed time. The ABA says these are part of the attorney work-product that I paid Mr Bogdan to produce. Mr Bogdan ultimately only provided me with a short summary and no emails. After the meeting with Mr Bogdan the stalking, harassment, intimidation, extortion/blackmail got much worse and I began to received social media contact related to "the pharmacist" and very overt indications that I had to "pay the freedom loving patriot" in a staged fraud lawsuit to make the wiretapping and malicious activity stop. I feel like I can say a lot more about Mr Bogdan, the IDFPR, DuPage County SAO, and others they enlisted to help with this stuff. The unconstitutional warrants on the "mark" are approved by Judges but with the expectation once you pay ransom apparently they throw all your private information away - so you never find out who is actually responsible. This is all also troubling because I was getting all kinds of messages saying everyone I talked to and my company were all doing illegal things and they would also suffer if I didn't pay. That cost me a lot of friends and now I worry about my family. Stalkers (scouts) were enlisted to search my home (house sitter) and information would be posted to fake websites and social media. I know this stuff is all illegal - it's also run by lawyers - and it would have been helpful if Mr Bogdan would help stop it. I had FBI reports about it and Mr Bogdan might have helped with that. All and all this RICO stuff looks like it is a regular operation that involves IDFPR workers and IDFPR defense lawyers. This has also continued for over 5 years and it looks like they basically use illegal wiretapping and malicious investigation (abuse of process) to try and destroy you if you don't pay who they say and tell people about it. I believe Mr Bogdan knew about all of this and made it much worse on purpose. Maybe Mr Bogdan's reply to this will shed light on this occurrence.

Dr Joseph Bogdon is very knowledgeable about the legal issues and since he is a pharm D he knows the pharmacy side of the business very well also. He takes time to explain every step and responded quickly to all my questions. He is very professional and will support you through the process. I Definitely recommend him to anyone needing a strong legal attorney.

I could not be more appreciative than I am for J Bogdan and his law office. One of the scariest moments of my career was when the DEA had issues with some of the practices in my office. Even though I was following exactly the FDA requirements for the administration of a specialty controlled medication, the DEA had an issue with the way we were utilizing it. This escalated to an issue that could have affected mental health offices across the country, since all practices that dispense this medication follow the same protocols. Even though the large pharmaceutical company that manufactured the medication was aware of the situation, they could not figure out a solution to be in compliance with federal law. With the help of attorney Bogdan, we were able to navigate the situation and find a solution that protected not only my office but mental health offices across the country. He and his team were excellent communicators, and I cannot recommend him more highly. If you’re thinking about hiring him stop thinking about it and just do it.

Retaining JJB Law Office was one of the best decisions our company has ever made. We turned to them for help navigating the complex process of obtaining our Wholesale Drug Distributor license through the IDFPR, which was an essential step for the success of our wholesale medical supply company. Terrible. There is no evidence that he did any work for me. He sent me a bill for work that may or may not have been done. But I had already paid my retainer, which was more than the amount than he charged me, and I never saw any refund.

My case required expertise in medicine, medications, and the law, as well as a familiarity with Federal / DEA regulations . The Law Offices of Joseph Bogdan provided superb experience in all these areas. Mr. Bogdan's unique professional experience as a Pharm D and as an attorney equipped him to perfectly present and defend my situation. There was no for multiple experts; he is the expert. I appreciate his masterful skill in negotiation. He was able to effectuate a reasonable end to a complicated situation. Without his knowledge, guidance, and expertise I would never have had the favorable outcome that I did. I cannot recommend him, and his team enough.

I'm happy I hired the office to handle my case. Needless to say, I was deeply embarrassed and humiliated to have to go before the BON. The office didn't pass any judgement. They were able to clearly explain what was going to happen and all the different ways the case can go. They did not make any promises as to the outcome of my case. They responded to my calls and emails in a timely matter. They were always pleasant and professional. I hope to never need them again, but I would hire them again . Thank you for all your help.

Mr Bogdan explained everything up front, from what to expect to what the cost would be. There were no surprises. While obviously, no one can guarantee a positive outcome legally, his confident demeanor put my mind at ease. He only promised to help me, and the result was better than I could have anticipated

I found myself in a pickle and needed advice quick. I was able to briefly speak with him on the phone, but he jumped right to telling me that I needed to pay the $1500 flat fee. He never let me know that I could simply resolve the situation on my own, which I found out after doing some of my own research. Be sure to do research and find out if you truly need a lawyer for your situation. Pretty sure he knew I could easily do it own my own, but just wanted my money.

Several years ago, I was completing my Master’s Degree Education and was preparing to apply to Medical School. Unfortunately, I was arrested during that time and ended up pleading guilty to a misdemeanor reckless driving charge. I had never been in legal trouble before and I thought that this would ruin my medical career before it even started. I contacted Jay Bogden, seeking his guidance in how to proceed in the application process with this “red flag” on my record. Mr. Bogden was kind, attentive and timely in helping me prepare statements for my applications and I was accepted to my first choice for medical school. Four years later, I was preparing to graduate medical school and enter “The Match.” Like most job applications, medical residencies ask that candidates disclose whether or not they have been convicted of a crime. I dreaded answering this question, so I called Jay Bogden again. I was unsure of whether or not he would remember me; but he met me with the same kindness as he had several years ago. He assuaged my concerns and he advised me as to how best approach the situation. I matched into residency at my first choice. 3 years later, I was ready to graduate residency and I was applying for my medical license. And again the question presented itself; “Have you ever been convicted of a misdemeanor or felony?” At this point, it became abundantly clear to me that I would always carry the burden of my past transgressions. However, I wasn’t willing to compromise on my goals as a physician. Again, Jay was there for me. I got my medical license without any issue. Shortly after that, I decided to pursue fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine. At this point, I knew who to call. Jay was there for me once again. At every point in my career, for nearly 10 years, Jay has answered when I’ve had questions about how to navigate the medical system with conviction on my record. And today, I’ve been accepted to and I am preparing for the fellowship that Ive been working toward for nearly a decade. I may have made poor choices in the past, but with Jay Bogden’s help and his continued commitment to helping me with my career, I have been able to realize my goals in the medical field. He can help you too.

For those who actually got a positive result from him. I’m happy for you. However, here’s my experience. I’m a licensed healthcare professional that got into trouble with the law by accident few years ago. He was referred to me by one of my friends. Before I retained him as an attorney, my friend warned me that Joseph “tend to making too much promise” but “he is a smart guy”. I wasn’t sure what that means back then, because I was desperate, I paid him $5000 (which is a lot compare to other attorney, others usually charge $3500) to retain him and let him working on my case. During the first year, I was facing too much uncertainty, therefore, I had lots of questions for him and of course, he charge me EVERY SINGLE MINUTE ($450 per hr, $112 per 15 mins) and he round up those mins, so for those time i called him for 6, 7 or 10 mins, I still get charged for 15 mins. Bills aside, what’s really bother me was his professionalism. Most of the time, it always took a long time for him to respond to my email, text or voice mail. Sometimes just no respond at all. He didn’t keep me updated about that’s going on (for example, my current attorney, he usually reply to me within few mins if he’s not in court or busy or had his associates reached out. He also forwards me the emails communications between him and the IDFPR people.) so I’m basically in the dark until he needs something from me. I was thinking about switching to other attorney during this process but he talked me to stay. I am licensed in multiple states and one of my licenses was due for renewal. I decided to let Jospeh to handle my renewal and self-reporting. Knowing him probably won’t get to it right away, I send in all the required paperwork to him 30 days prior to the deadline, him and Patrick (long story short, I don’t recommend Patrick Callahan either) still couldn’t get it done til few days before the renewal deadline. Few months after my conviction, IDFPR decided to discipline my license. With Jospeh’s “help”, I got the second worse deal with the IDFPR and I even signed the paper agreed with the conditions. However, after some research and paid consult with other attorney, I realized I got a horrible deal and thank god I still had time to retract it. It only took two emails from my new attorney (he CC me on all the emails with the IDFPR) to get me a way better deal. That’s when I realized Jospeh didn’t fight for me at all. If you are thinking about hire him, proceed with caution. I know he does some MPJE tutoring, so that explains some of his 5.0 ratings. Joseph is known for “won’t fight” among his IDFPR peers. Money comes and goes but if your attorney doesn’t have your best interest in mind, your license/career will be done forever.
